The eroFame hall was about 80% full with stands purveying their wares. We ensured that we covered all the exhibition stands by working the hall in a grid pattern, row by row.
There were a lot of familiar faces and it was great catching up with old adult industry friends as well as making some new ones. It’s always good to meet clients who you have only communicated with via emails and telephone calls.
People had come from all corners of the globe to convene in Hannover for the best B 2 B event in Europe.
There were no distractions like Venus where you are constantly having to shout over the music coming from the public hall and being part of the live floor shows with pornstars showing their talents.
It’s the place to be seen if you want to do some real business.
There were a few lingerie models but nothing smutty and they were very tastefully dressed.
A few new and interesting products were present but not as many as I expected on the run up to Christmas. I have reviewed a few of them on Sex Toys Buzz if you are interested.
One of the most memorable toys was a collection of beautiful dildos which were painted and covered in duck egg shells. A traditional form of decoration from Vietnam. They were stunning, you can see them in the image above.
We made the best of the two days we were there but next time we will give ourselves 3 days so the schedule isn’t too hectic.
The coach arrived outside the partner hotel to pick us up and it was raining, very much like the weather we left behind in the UK.
It took us to the door of the eroFame venue and we made our way inside the hall. Unlike the previous year the exhibition was on one level.
Unlike the previous year where entry was on the floor above the exhibition hall we couldn’t see the enormity of the show. But once we cleared the gates it became appartent.
eroFame is a serious contender in the adult B2B world.
The hall was already buzzing despite only being open for a few minutes and Alex and I made our way to the Net 1 On 1 stand who we were partnered with for the event.
Everyone as usual was professional and ready for the second day of the event. eroFame is a 3 day event and we were only attending for the final two days.
Our intention was to be on the stand and also cover the event for Xbiz as well as take in the best of the adult pleasure market.
Unlike other shows of this kind, eroFame has a very business like feel and offers businesses the opportunity to liaise with companies unhindered unlike other venues like Venus where the B to C takes over in terms of distracting noise.
Alex and I were presented with the opportunity to speak to clients on a professional stand and discuss potential business relationships. Something that you don’t normally get at a trade show.
I was presented with an opportunity to work with one of the leading UK’s supplier of online adult products which wouldn’t ordinarily happen.
And at half time we were offered the opportunity to dine free in the event’s buffet which is always wholesome.
