It’s All Balls And Clubs

I was catching up on the news this afternoon and a piece of editorial caught my eye. It claimed that the famous golfer Peter Alliss had penned a steamy story in 1983 called The Duke, which they labelled as “Bonkbuster”.

Golf has never been a sport that I have taken any interest in apart from Seve Ballestero when I was a young girl going through a phase of fancying an older man. Man, being the operative word in those days, boys always seemed too silly.

It just goes to show, on the outside they look all calm and composed and like butter wouldn’t melt but beneath the surface is a passionate seething animal.

And I thought we had seen it all with Alan Titchmarsh. Lol
