There has been controversy surrounding Google\u2019s street mapping right from the day it started.\u00a0 People were up in arms complaining that it infringed on their privacy and objected to it.<\/p>\n
Personally I find it an excellent tool.\u00a0 You can now check out venues before you visit them which would have been impossible to do before.\u00a0 Yes there was always the option to check them out if they had a website but what could be better than being able to walk down the street taking in the surrounding area.<\/p>\n
I find this particularly useful when booking a hotel, you can now see where exactly you are going and if it\u2019s in a nice part of town.<\/p>\n
Street Map has its amusing side too with several images have emerged of people in strange circumstances including the naked guy in his car boot.\u00a0 Lol<\/p>\n
