Sometimes you need reminding how lucky you are and today I was reminded. We live in a beautiful part of the country and the view from almost every window in our house is of farmland. The semi-rural setting and the fact that we live almost at the top of the valley side means we never tire of looking at our surroundings. I get home from work every night and give myself a moment to look across the valley and enjoy the moorland with its patchwork of fields ascending the hillsides until they become unbroken acres of heather on the hilltops.<\/p>\n
Beautiful.<\/p>\n
I was reminded of something else today. When Suze and I get home from work it’s like we’ve been apart for a week, not a working day. It feels so good to be back together. Boring as it might sound I always tell her that I love her and kiss her, just once, as soon as we’re together.<\/p>\n
After doing various chores yesterday evening I needed to look up some images for a project we’re working on and found myself staring at some shots of Suze’s face. It’s a face that I wake up to every morning and the one that I see before I go to sleep at night. What struck me is that the images are incredibly appealing. I don’t think it’s just me, I have to say that because I’m head-over-heals in love with the woman and therefore biased. There’s a vivacity in her eyes and a playfulness in her smile that beguiles you.<\/p>\n
I found it difficult to get on with the job at hand because I was enjoying the images so much.<\/p>\n
