And delighted that we opted to pay that little extra for the \u201cDrop &amp; Go\u201d service believing that we would simply hand over our car keys to the concierge at the gate and be able to walk off in to the airport lounge whilst they parked the car.<\/p>\n<p>WRONG!<\/p>\n<p>What this service actually turned out to be was that we parked the car and then scanned the airport car park for the service.\u00a0 We finally spotted where we should be.\u00a0 It was the small portacabin at the bottom end of the car park.<\/p>\n<p>We drove the car down and handed over the keys, then had to walk across the full length of the car park to the terminal entrance with your luggage.\u00a0 Great service indeed.\u00a0 Next time we\u2019ll save our money.\u00a0 Lol<\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019d booked everything on line we were able to do our own checkin which was straight forward.\u00a0 Now we just had to clear security which usually involves me having to take of my shoes and be felt up by a security guard whilst Alex gets apprehended for having a suspicious item of hand luggage.\u00a0 Last time it was his camera which needed a thorough investigation for some reason.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s usually a hold up.\u00a0 To my surprise this time I sailed through but as you may have already guessed Alex got pulled over for having his iPad in his rucksack.\u00a0 Lol<\/p>\n<p>By now we were starving having had no breakfast before leaving so we decide to have a full English breakfast at Wetherspoons.\u00a0 And I don\u2019t think I will be eating there any time soon.\u00a0 It was cold and very unappetising. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Then the next thing we know the gate is open and we are boarding the plane.\u00a0 It was small and bijoux and this time we weren\u2019t near the wings and the constant drone of the engines.\u00a0 The flight was reasonably comfortable and we were glad we ate as you don\u2019t get anything to eat gratis with Fly Be.<\/p>\n<p>Touchdown was good and we cleared the airport in reasonable time.\u00a0 Albeit too late to attend the first day of the show, next year we will have to book a flight the day before to ensure we get there.<\/p>\n<p>The taxi ride to our hotel was comfortable, a brand new Mercedes Benz\u2026what else in Germany\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The day had finally come to make our way over to Hanover, Germany.\u00a0 It had been 3 long months since our last industry show and we were more than a &hellip; <a href=\"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/?p=18916\" class=\"more-link\">Read More<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":18917,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3],"tags":[4058,4057,1080,2594,113],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18916"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=18916"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18916\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":18918,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18916\/revisions\/18918"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/media\/18917"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=18916"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=18916"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alexsuze.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=18916"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
