One minute you\u2019re up, the next you\u2019re not only down and out but forgotten and with a very small Wikipedia entry to boot.<\/p>\n<p>I mention this because I was wondering what had become of Charlie Dimmock, once regular of the TV schedules in \u201cGround Force\u201d and \u201cRiver Walks\u201d she had slipped under my radar. A quick search reveals that she\u2019s still active, on the speaking circuit and now apparently going nude in the stage production of \u201cCalendar Girls\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe she\u2019ll be back on the BBC soon to spice up \u201cGardener\u2019s World\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Celebrity is such an ephemeral thing.
