Am I being cynical or is it currently fashionable to be bisexual? It seems that some personality or other comes out every day and makes it in to the papers of course.

Only this week have we have seen Megan Fox openly admit that she has bisexual tendencies and actually made this statement in Esquire magazine

“I have no question in my mind about being bisexual.

“But I’m also a hypocrite.
“I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”
What exactly is she trying to say. That she can only have a relationship with a lesbian? Despite having a desire for both the male and female of the species. You bet you’re a hypocrite Meagan. In fact I would go as far as to say that you are trying to grab some headlines here babe.

I’m bisexual and have recognised that fact since my teenage years; One thing that I do know is that if I fancy a girl it doesn’t matter to me if she is bi or gay. Although I have read that gay girls don’t particularly entertain the idea of bisexual women because they sometimes believe that they are “playing at it”.

Either way I believe you are born with certain sexual preferences and you cannot suddenly “reform” just because it doesn’t fit in with someone’s expectations of you. Least not if you are being true to yourself. So Megan you can go swivel, stop playing at it.

I have lusted after Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas for years and she is another girl who has come out of the closet this week and admitted to liking a bit of lady love. I would feel her lady lumps any time… 😉

  1. I think you might be putting too much stock into what Megan Fox is saying. I suspect you have thought about it more than she has.

    However, I did just read a profile on one of the swingers sites that said the same thing. She said she didn’t want a bi girl; she didn’t want to “make the first move or wait until you’re buzzed. I want a woman who really WANTS me. A lesbian.”

    Now, this was also one of the most messed up profiles (and people) I’d ever run across, but still…
