Filthy Schoolgirl Crush
As Alex mentioned in his post yesterday, we went to see Avatar. I had been wanting to see the film since I heard about it but was patiently waiting for the right time. That came yesterday, the schools were back and Alex was available to accompany me for the early afternoon showing.
We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to go too, there were very few people watching with us and not many distractions from people eating and drinking. And best of all nobody sat directly in front of us.
The film had me and the rest of the auditorium spellbound. From the moment the film started to the moment the credits started to roll up the screen people were sat almost motionless, eyes glued to the screen.
I always judge how good a film is by the passing of time, I’ll expand on that. If I sit through a lengthy film and don’t find the urge to check the time and how far through it is or shuffle about in my seat a lot, then the film is good.
And I must say that I only realised I hadn’t been moving around in my seat when we got to the end and my ass felt a little numb. The script and acting was excellent…especially Mr Worthington. 😉
Sam Worthington is worth going to see the film for even if it wasn’t the compelling masterpiece that it is. For some reason since seeing him yesterday I haven’t been able to get him out of my mind. He is gorgeous!
I feel like a schoolgirl once more. 🙂
