Porn Close Up And Personal

As you know Alex and I have some very good friends in the porn industry, in particular actresses I would like to make some male acquaintances too but the moment just hasn’t presented itself yet.  And they are all very down to earth nice people who have a very supportive network of people behind them and their chosen career, which is wonderful.

To be honest if I had a daughter who came to me one day and admitted that they were working in the adult industry I’m not sure how I would react.  Strange eh!  I think lots of thoughts would enter my head like safety, we would all worry about our kids right?  That said I don’t have a negative attitude towards the industry, far from it as you know.

For me what matters is peoples happiness and lets be honest here, I would rather my offspring be earning an honest bob than shooting up every day just to pass the time.

I suppose what I’m trying to explore here is our attitudes towards pornography.  Why are so many of us against something that is so fundamental in our lives even if we don’t care to admit it.  Pornography is the girl who doesn’t need wooing, expensive dinners and commitment.  It’s just there to be enjoyed and I do mean enjoyed by us when we want it with no commitments.

Suppressing natural urges has never worked, denial just pushes desire in to the closet where they can manifest themselves in different ways, some unhealthy.  Aren’t we all better being open about our sexuality?
