Shaking Your Tail Feathers In My Face
The BBC have been running some splendid wildlife programs lately, the great shame is the subject matter. The series “Lost Land Of The Volcano” was a compelling program where a team of scientists and filmmakers ventured over New Guinea in the hope of finding and identifying new species of animal in a bid to persuade the country to take steps towards preserving the precious habitat.
If you didn’t catch the programmes you can watch then again here your time will be well invested, you may never get to see these creatures again.
Another series currently running on the BBC is “Last Chance To See” with Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine. From the title you can guess what the six programmes are covering.
The guys have been tracking down some of the most endangered animals on the planet. Again if you wish to catch up on missed episodes you can view them here.
On a lighter note, no an hilarious note watch this video clip of the rare kakapo parrot I’ve never seen anything like this and in this context it’s even funnier. 🙂
