Alex and I have been blogging now for almost 5 years and in that time have been on the receiving end of some really weird and plain stupid scam attempts, everything from the elaborate to the unbelievably naive – whatever makes people think anyone will fall for them is beyond me.

But this email received by Alex was a first and it cracked me up:
